Acer is all set to amaze the world with its series of new releases!

Acer launches a series of power-packed laptops – Acer Swift 5, Acer Swift 3 (SF314-59), Swift 3 (SF313-53), Acer Swift 3X, and Acer Aspire 5

Acer releases a set of five laptops – all are powered by 11th generation Intel Core processors. They all are available from the first week of November via all e-commerce websites and offline stores, like the Acer Mall Exclusive Store from Digital Dreams and other multi-brand outlets.

The Acer Swift 5 (SF514-55T)

This laptop features an amazing 14-inch full-HD display with a brightness that peaks upto 340 nits, provides 100 percent coverage of the sRGB colour gamut, and a 90 percent screen to body ratio. For enhanced protection, it also has an anti-microbial Corning Gorilla Glass coating; and is incredibly powered by 11th-generation Intel Core i5 and Intel Core i7 processors with Intel Iris Xe graphics.

Battery life on the Acer Swift 5 is expected to last up to 17 hours on a single charge. This laptop weighs approximately 1kg, has a magnesium-lithium and magnesium-aluminum chassis and not to mention, the ports include USB Type-C, Thunderbolt 4 and USB3.2 Gen 2.

The Acer Swift 3x

The highlight of Acer Swift 3X is it features a 14-inch full-HD IPS screen with 72 percent of the NTSC color gamut and 84 percent screen-to-body ratio. It brilliantly integrates Acer ExaColor and Acer Color Intelligence to significantly minimize strain on eyes. It is also powered by the 11th Gen Intel Core processor accompanied by Intel Iris Xe MAX discrete graphics. The device also has multiple cooling modes easily accessible via easy shortcut keys, and dual heat pipes for heat dissipation.

This gadget blockbuster claims a battery life of up to 17.5 hours, all thanks to its 58.7Wh battery. It is expected to provide 4-hours of use for just 30 minutes of charge time. Additionally, the connectivity options include Wi-Fi 6 (Gig+), Bluetooth v5.1, 2×2 MU-MIMO, USB Type-C, Thunderbolt 4, HDMI 2.0, and USB 3.2 Gen 2 port. And weighing at 1.37kg, it is not too heavy either.

The Acer Swift 3 (SF313-53) and Acer Swift 3 (SF314-59)

The Acer Swift 3 (SF313-53) features a smaller display of around 13.5-inch with 2,256 x 1,504 pixels resolution and 3:2 aspect ratio. Its small size of display does not hold itself in providing peak brightness of 400 nits and covers 100 percent of the sRGB colour gamut. According to Acer, it can last up to 18 hours on a single charge. Its aluminum and magnesium-aluminum design gives it a weight of just 1.19kg and thickness of around 15.95mm.

Whereas, the Acer Swift 3 (SF314-59) comes with a 14-inch full-HD display and an 82.73 percent screen to body ratio. It weighs a little higher than its former variant at just around 1.2kg with a thickness of 15.95mm.

However, both the models are powered by 11th-generation Intel Core i7 and Core i5 processors and integrated Intel Iris Xe graphics. They also have a backlit keyboard, storage up to 1TB PCIe Gen 3 x 4 SSD memory, and come with Windows Hello support via a fingerprint reader. Connectivity options also include Thunderbolt 4, Wi-Fi 6.

The Acer Aspire 5

The all-new, refreshed Acer Aspire 5 comes with a 14-inch full-HD IPS display with Acer’s Color Intelligence and eye care technology called Acer BlueLightShield. It is powered by the latest 11th Gen Intel Core processors paired with NVIDIA GeForce MX350 discrete graphics. Incredibly, it is just 17.95mm slim and also offers connectivity options like dual-band Wi-Fi 6. What else? The laptop also integrates up to1TB M.2 PCIe SSD and up to 2TB HDD.

Are you ready to indulge yourself in the magnificence of an Acer laptop with a richness of Porsche’s design?

Acer teams up with Porsche Design for the luxury Acer Book RS laptop and all set to release 11th Gen Intel updates on its existing laptops

Acer is partnering with Porsche Design on a brand-new, high-end ‘luxury’ laptop, the Porsche Design Acer Book RS. The looks of which combines the stylized-craft of Porsche Design’s product with Acer’s know-how!

The Porsche Design Acer Book RS has configured specs that are a feast for the eyes. It comes with an incredible choice of Intel’s 11th Gen Core i5 and i7 processors, 8GB or 16GB of RAM, and either 512GB or 1TB of storage. Graphics can either be left to Intel’s integrated Iris Xe graphics or an optional discrete Nvidia MX350 GPU. The display is perhaps the least impressive part of the package, with a fairly ordinary 14-inch 1080p touchscreen.

The laptop will also come with its matching accessories, including a mouse and a case, which can be bundled together or can be acquired in a “premium package” that includes the higher-speed i7 model of the laptop.

So far, this one is a lot cheaper than Porsche Design’s last laptop. Its release date in the US and in other countries yet to finalize, but all fingers crossed, it will be available in India sooner, with other ACER laptops. If you are looking for one, do check out the Digital Dreams – Acer Mall- Exclusive Store in Gaurav tower Jaipur.

This being the highlight and most forward-looking initiative, but the company isn’t just focusing on fancy designs. It’s also planning to roll out a new set of launches, check out here (, and integrate Intel’s latest chips to several other laptops in its lineup, too. Both, the Spin 5 and Spin 3 are getting new upgrades.

Amongst the two, the Spin 5 is the less interesting one, featuring the same basic redesign that it received earlier this year vis-à-vis to its 13.5-inch 2K display, but it now offers a choice of Intel’s 11th Gen i5 and i7 processors. It is expected to release by February 2021.

The Spin 3, no doubt, has gotten a more significant update, with a new 16:10 13.3-inch display – both having 2560 x 1600 and 1920 x 1200 resolution options. The new model is also getting Intel’s 11th Gen processors (with Core i3, i5, and i7 choices), 8GB or 16GB of RAM, and the option to add a second SSD. It may be ready for sale around March 2021.

Acer is also refreshing its Aspire 5 lineups with 11th Gen Intel processors, and all its 14-inch, 15-inch, and 17-inch models are adding Intel’s latest laptop chips as configuration options, along with the additional choice of adding discrete Nvidia GeForce MX350 or MX450 GPUs. The 14-inch and 15-inch models will be available at the end of this year or the beginning of next year, tentatively.

Lastly, Acer is also planning to upgrade its ConceptD 7 and ConceptD 7 Pro laptops for creators, which was released earlier this year. It will include the latest Intel’s 10th Gen H-series laptop chips. However, the design of the two models remains more or less unchanged. Both of them may be available later this year or during the first half of 2021.
